NBSiC Plates are Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (NSiC) kiln shelves used as a high-performance firing support surface, offering higher strength and thermal conductivity than conventional cordierite batts. Their nitride-bonded structure delivers excellent load-bearing capacity and consistent firing results across repeated high-temperature cycles.
Used as the primary flat firing surface within the kiln in place of cordierite batts where higher load capacity, faster heat transfer, or higher firing temperatures are required — supporting sanitary ware and tableware through repeated high-temperature cycles.
