NBSiC Posts, Supports are Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (NSiC) vertical components used to carry and space shelves and beams within the kiln setting. Offering greater strength and thermal conductivity than cordierite props, they support taller, denser setting configurations while withstanding repeated high-temperature firing cycles.
Used as vertical supports between shelf or beam levels within a kiln setting — carrying the load of NBSiC plates/beams and ware stacked above, suited to higher-load or higher-temperature setting configurations than standard cordierite props.
