NBSiC Posts are Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (NSiC) vertical posts used to carry and space shelves within the kiln setting. Manufactured for higher strength and faster heat transfer than cordierite props, they support demanding load and firing-cycle requirements in sanitary ware and tableware kilns.
Used as vertical spacers between NBSiC Plates/Beams within a kiln setting — carrying the load of shelves and ware stacked above, suited to higher-load or higher-temperature configurations than standard cordierite pillars.
